Let me paint a picture of a wedding day where it pours all day. Kacii kept telling me not to worry and that everything would turn out okay. When she sent the gallery I tried preparing for the worst, just thinking about the rain and hoping we got a few good shots. I loved every image!! The photos were so amazing. Honest, easy, and real. I'm just a girl who knows how hard it is to sift through call after call, email after email, trying to find the right people for the job. I'm not going to make you sit on an hour long call, just to tell you I'm out of your budget at the end. I'm not naive and understand that everyone has different needs for their day, different vibes, and different budgets. I'm not the photographer for everyone, and that's OKAY. A: Remember when I said I'm an anxious girly? This is where it comes into play. Technology is great, until it isn't. Not only do I shoot on a dual-slot camera, meaning EVERY image I take is saved on TWO memory cards - but I also have a backup camera in case my main camera magically gets broken. I also upload your images to TWO hard drives, my laptop, AND desktop as soon as I get home so your images are saved in four separate places. I do everything I possibly can to ensure nothing goes wrong!
Q: hOW DO YOU PROTECT OUR IMAGES?
A: Wipe that sweat of your brow and take a big breath, because I GOTCHU. I have a location guide, so you have image examples of different location options. I've got a full styling guide for each styled session to help you plan outfits that will make you look your best. I also have a full list of vendor recommendations so you don't have to spend hours digging through websites.
Q: PLANNING A WEDDING/SESSION IS NUTS! CAN YOU HELP?
A: PLEASEEEEE bring them! All furbabies (or reptiles?) are able to be included in your session! All I ask is they are friendly, because ya girl would rather not make another E.R trip! Bring some treats and an extra person to keep the furbaby while we snag some shots of just the humans too!
Q: CAN WE BRING OUR DOGS?
A: You would be surprised how many times people tell me they're awkward! The photos blasted all over my website? I guarantee you they said the same thing! The good thing about my sessions is I always keep you moving and living in the moment. There's no awkward poses or strange silences during a session. I GOTCHU!
Q: WE'RE AWKWARD! HOW CAN YOU BE SURE WE'LL DO OKAY?
A: Many people confuse "raw" with "unedited" photos. Raw images are a file type than many people are unable to even open without the proper software. With that said, I do not release RAW photos as it's not an example of my work. Your images go through a lengthy proess of being edited by me. Each image is given time and focus to produce the outcome you see. Handing over raw images is like having a baker hand over the ingredients to a cake!

Other than being able to browse your completed images one by one (and ordering albums and prints), this is the best part. The big day! If it's your wedding, we've been talking about this for months. I'll show up with my "bride box" in tow, spend my time capturing timeless memories, and having your friends and family fall in love with me just like you did! For my portrait sessions, we will meet at the disclosed location and get started! It will feel like a fun date night, with some weird camera lady following you around!
04. The best part
This is where the fun starts. We have a quick chat about what you're looking for, what I can offer, and what the overall vision is. If you didn't already believe I am your photographer soulmate, you will now! Contracts, questionnaires, and invoices get sent over for you to review, fill out, sign, and pay. Once that's done, I'm yours!

For weddings, we will meet quite often to go over timelines, vendor recommendations, planning your engagement session, having the engagement session, and catching up on where you are in the process. There is NO limit to how many times we can call, zoom, or meet up! Your big day is going to be absolutely PERFECT with me capturing the day as it runs through!
